Letter fits onto a 6 inch or 8 inch cake. Pick mounted into the bottom of each monogram inserts into the cake or floral foam used on the cake. In creating a standard 3-letter monogram, the small letters are used for the initials of the bride and groom's given names. The large letter is for the first initial of the surname.
