To reflect the joining and blending of two lives into one, it is suggested to fill one cylinder with white sand to represent the couple’s spiritual foundation and to fill the other two cylinders each with a different colored sand to represent the individuals. During the ceremony each color is poured into the tall cylinder one by one (usually the minister adds the white sand first) and then all three are added together at the top to symbolize the union.
This kit includes a 9" tall, 3" in diameter cylinder with white linked hearts imprint and three 7 1/2" tall, 1 3/4" in diameter cylinders.
Engraving is available for additional fees
Remember to order sand for your Sand ceremony set...3 colors/pounds is recommended
Sand is also available in 16 colors for additional $4.50 per jar, see small inset at right.
Additional pouring vases are also available, if you would like to have more than 3 people pouring sand into the Large vase
Please Note: The tradition in North America is that the bride's name is followed by the groom's.
